Hello! Wasn't that a fantastic meeting in September at Patrick's house? The group was riveted by his enthusiasm and knowledge of Greene's works. Patrick's perspective and views on Graham Greene's The Power and the Glory were fascinating because of his background as a teacher and priest. Any thoughts of lecturing as another career, Patrick? Thank you so much to Patrick, and for the lovely spread also.

Our next meeting will be at my house. Please give me a call if you cannot make it. I hope you can get a copy of the book. I can loan my copy out for a short time; it is my special Oxfam English copy so needs good care!

Latest info is that the November book is Jane Urquhart's The Stone Carvers, November 26 at Larry's place. We will gather at Allegra's to discuss Moody Food by Ray Robertson on April 22.

I have attached an updated Reading Group address list in Word format. Art's info is wrong still, I believe.

Hope you are enjoying our wonderful Indian summer. I look forward to seeing you on October 22. I think my Martin will be visiting from England. He can be the butler!!!
